Using NDAS technology, external hard disk drives can be directly connected to your LAN, in addition to your computer. Developed as a storage solution for our multimedia era, NDAS is the new network storage paradigm and the result of three years of research.

NDAS acts as an independent local and a shared storage system that can be used by any personal computer on the network. Another special trait of this storage system is that it can aggregate (combine into one large drive) multiple storage units, giving the storage system expandability.

Traditional network storage systems that have been widely used are NAS and SAN. Since these traditional storage systems can only operate subordinately to the server or host, sharing and expanding is very inconvenient.
